Founder and Executive Director
Satya Narayanan R, a teacher, founder and entrepreneur, incorporated Career Launcher in 1996 with a vision to bring revolution to the Ed Tech Industry. Currently, he is serving in Career Launcher as Chairman and Executive Director. He has almost 22 years of experience in the Ed Tech sector and has contributed to this Industry since the incorporation of the CL. If we talk about this educational background, he has a B.Sc from Delhi University and PG degree from IIM-B.
Gautam Puri, Nikhil Mahajan, Imran Jafar, Girish Shivani, Madhumita Ganguli, Sanjay Tapriya and Piyush Sharma are some other board members who are consistently helping Satya Narayanan R to become a global leader in this space and to provide a transformative education to make innovators and leaders.
Services and Space
The organization works in two spaces which are Business Verticals and academic Verticals. In the business verticle, the organizations provide services such as Books & publications, marketing services, academic-industry research, and colligate research. Another space is the academic vertical, where they provide coaching for entrance and competitive exams.
The organisation operates through four segments: Consumer Test-Preparation, Enterprise Corporate, Consumer Publishing and Enterprise Institutional. The consumer preparation section caters to various exam preparation makers and non-test preparation courses under the career laucher brand. The section is further divided into digital and non-digital. The consumer publishing section works under GK Publications and distributes titles under three categories, Non-technical, Technical and School Business. The other section is Enterprise Corporate which operates under the Keston integrated marketing services. Enterprises institutional provide services to the universities and educational institutions across India.
Stock Value and fundamentals
Career Launcher was listed on BSE & NSE in 2017 via IPO and completed a 100% acquisition in Acccendere. The current market price of the stock is INR 133.70. For June 2022, the company’s promoter increased their holding from 50.94% to 51.10%. CL education’s market cap is INR 376 Cr as of 3 August 2022. The company’s profit Earning (PE) and Price-to-book value (PB) ratio is 27.70 and 1.47 as of 3 August 2022.
